The Messages of God in January 2019

11th January, received at Adoration, Banneux

(Friday After Epiphany)

The 1st Reading – 1 John 5:5-13

The Lord says,

“My dear children, listen to Me. I am your Saviour, who takes away your sins; I come to save you. Alas! For those do not listen to My Word (of Life)! Alas! For those who do not believe in My existence! Alas! For those who do not trust in My love and mercy! My dear children, take time to pray before My Sacred Place (the Blessed Altar where His Body is laid on) and search Me in your heart. I yearn for your friendship; I would like you to know, how much I care for you, because you are My beloved creation… each one of you, is mine. Come and adore Me, My children. Be silent, and know me…that I AM your GOD. Thank you for listening to my call. I bless you!”      AMEN!

I attended the Friday Mass today, and here is the priest’s homily during the Eucharist celebration; the priest preached: “Brothers and sisters, there are two main points I would like to point out as regards today’s homily: Firstly, we have to make our resolution this year 2019, that is, to focus our look towards Jesus Christ (God) – let our look be the axis to Christ; He is the Son of God that fed thousands of people and healed the leper that is mentioned in today’s Gospel (Luke 1:39-45). The leper asked Jesus, ‘If you want to, you can cure me.’ And Jesus answered, ‘Of course I want to! Be cured!’ Let us be like the leper says, “If you want to,” (…) Let our prayer be like this, humble leper… and pray with poverty of heart. The prayer is an analogue of Jesus’ prayer to the Father God during His Passion in the Garden of Gethsemane, Jesus said, ‘Father, it is not my will, but may your will be done.’ Likewise on the Annunciation Day, when Mary received the message from God about she is to conceive our Saviour, she said, ‘Let it be done according to your will.’ So, let us pray to God with humility and poverty of heart, ask this grace from God. (…) Secondly, (…) Let us praise and thank God in any situation – good or bad. We all like what is good and we praise and thank God for it; but do we do the same way if we are sick, or in pain? (…) We should have the attitude to abandon all our “selves” completely to God, and praise and thank Him in all situations. (…) Ask this grace from the Lord so as to do what is pleasing Him and that helps us grow in holiness.  Amen!”

The 1st Reading – Acts 22:3-16

The Lord says,

“Yes, I AM JESUS. I come to touch many souls who have gone astray, who do not know what Love and Mercy is. I come like Fire from Heaven and purify the heart of men. Listen then to Me, and repent! I will make your life new and meaningful in the sight of Me, for My Glory. My children, do not be afraid, for I come to save you, from the imprisonment of your iniquity. Receive My Spirit, as I blow it to you…and be converted. And, open your eyes and see of My Goodness to you. May your heart be filled with GREAT JOY!  I bless you.”   +    AMEN!

The homily of today’s Friday Mass was not noted, but today’s Entrance Antiphon and Communion Antiphon do answer the word of God above:

Entrance Antiphon

‘I know whom I have believed. I am sure that He, the just judge, will guard my pledge until the day of judgement.’

Communion Antiphon

‘I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved Me and sacrificed Himself for Me.’
